When God Goes Silent

Reading:
John 11:1-6 -Now a man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. (This Mary, whose brother Lazarus now lay sick, was the same one who poured perfume on the Lord and wiped his feet with her hair.) So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.” When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.” Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. So when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days,

Devotional: "When Jesus heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days." These words can pierce our hearts when we're desperate for God's intervention. Like Mary and Martha, we've all experienced the confusion of unanswered prayers and divine delays. But here's the truth: delay is not denial, and silence is not absence. God's timing often defies our understanding because He sees the bigger picture we cannot. When you feel "left on read" by God, remember that He is mission-focused, working all things together for good. Your prayers haven't fallen on deaf ears. God is orchestrating something beyond your immediate relief—He's preparing resurrection moments that will glorify Him and transform you. Trust the process, even in the waiting.
