I Love My Church 11-23-25

What makes a place feel like home? It's not the building, the seating capacity, or even how clean the floors are. It's something you can't quite put your finger on—an intangible that changes everything.

This Sunday we talked about hospitality, and here's what struck me: hospitality isn't about saving people, it's about serving them. It's about going FIRST, going to SERVE, and going NOW.

Think about that person on your relational radar. You know who they are. Are you waiting for them to make the first move? What if God is waiting for YOU to reach out, send that text, make that call, or invite them for coffee?

The most beautiful thing about Madison Hills isn't our programs or our building—it's YOU. When someone walks through our doors for the first time as a complete stranger, they feel something genuine. They feel welcomed. They feel home.

One person said it perfectly: "The moment we walked through the front door, I knew we were home."

That's the power of hospitality. When we serve strangers with urgency and authenticity, God shows up in powerful ways. Sometimes we're entertaining angels without even knowing it.

So here's your challenge this week: Make that first move. Serve someone. Don't wait. Let hospitality flow easily into your rhythm.

Because hospitality isn't just a church value—it's a Kingdom value.
