Stand Firm!

Madison Men

Who are we? What do we believe?

1 Corinthians 16:13
Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
Whether you are a college
student, a new father, or a retiree, in Madison Men
there is a place for men in every
stage of life.
The vision for 2026 is simple but meaningful:
To invest deeply in every man at Madison Hills—building biblical wisdom, practical skills, and a strong foundation of support.

Our Hope is that along the way, We'll also learn from each other. As we grow together, we sharpen one another.

This journey of becoming a man is a lifelong pursuit—one where we continually learn, gain new skills, strengthen our faith, and strive to love others well. By pouring into one another, we not only become better men individually, but we strengthen the men of Madison Hills as a whole.
Biblical Wisdom
We believe that true strength begins with a foundation in God’s Word. We are committed to
studying Scripture together to gain the discernment and wisdom needed to lead our families, our
church, and our community with integrity.
Practical Skill-Building
Being a "Madison Man" means growing in all areas of life. We create opportunities to learn
tangible, practical skills—from home leadership to hands-on craftsmanship—helping one
another become more capable and resourceful in our daily lives.
Authentic Brotherhood
No man is meant to walk alone. We prioritize building a strong foundation of support where men
can be honest, sharpen one another, and find encouragement through every season of life. As
iron sharpens iron, we grow better together.
Selfless Leadership
Following the example of Christ, we strive to love others well by pouring into those around us.
Our goal is to strengthen the men of Madison Hills so that we can better serve our neighbors and
leave a lasting, positive impact on the world.

Ricky Fraley
I’ve known Madison Hills since I was a kid in the 80s, but it took me a lifetime of ups and downs to truly understand what this community means. I’ve seen this church at its best—supporting me through the devastating loss of my mother in 2004—and I’ve stayed through its more difficult seasons of tension and change.

For a long time, I lived a "good" life with a great marriage and kids, but I always felt like I was running on empty. It turns out, I was missing Jesus. In May 2021, I finally stopped running and was baptized.

We recently 'came home' to Madison Hills after some time away. After a transparent and honest conversation with Pastor David, my wife and I knew this was where we were meant to be. This church is my family. Today, I feel a strong calling to walk alongside other men as they grow in their faith. I know what it’s like to feel like something is missing, and I want to help others find that missing piece in Jesus.
Mike Ferris
Mike grew up a true GenX’er. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps infantry and carries forward the lessons of discipline, humility, and service into everyday life and ministry. He has spent nearly 30 years with UPS and currently works as a feeder driver.

Mike served Madison Hills for 12 years as youth pastor and married his wife, Heather, in 2019. Together they have three adult sons—Justin, Jacob, and Braden. He enjoys Braves baseball, UK basketball, NFL and SEC football, and spending time outdoors on the trail hiking.

Mike’s heart in men’s ministry is to walk alongside men as they grow into an authentic relationship with Jesus—one that doesn’t stop at church, but naturally spills into everyday life, work and relationships.
